“you’re going to have that tattoo for the rest of your life”
are you serious
i had no idea thank you so much bless your soul
So because of my scoliosis and also due to complications with my back muscles, hips, legs, and ankles, my chiropractor has told me to stop doing exercise that will cause too much strain on my lower back (such as crunches, sit-ups, running, etc. - all things that I was doing regularly) until some of the problems are dealt with. However, earlier this year the orthopaedic surgeon that I see told me to stay healthy and fit in order to help with the pain from the scoliosis.
I do yoga regularly and try to follow a limit of 1300-1400 calories per day (not including cheat days) but I do miss my regular workouts. What I’m looking for is some exercise that can allow me to develop more muscle, can prevent further damage to my muscles, can focus on strengthening my core, and that doesn’t involve unnecessary pain.
I know it’s a long shot, but if anyone has any helpful fitness tips for this situation I would love if you shared them with me! :)
